Welcome
| When a group of local business and community leaders started the Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona in 1922, they also launched its mission – deciding the Fair would not only entertain, but would also educate. Education is as much a part of the Fair's DNA as cotton candy, livestock and Ferris wheels. Over the years, the Los Angeles County Fair Association has changed and grown along with the world it inhabits. The Learning Centers at Fairplex identifies the mission of this nonprofit arm of the Association, which remains as integral to our operations as it was in 1922. In its steadfast commitment to education, the Association generously underwrites the administrative costs of these highly relevant educational programs. As a result, nearly 100% of all dollars raised directly benefit programmatic costs for The Learning Centers. |
The Learning Centers at Fairplex support a vast array of relevant educational programs that provide hands-on learning experiences during the L.A. County Fair and throughout the year.
